Cycling at the Windsor

The Windsor boasts as the only hotel in Nairobi offering a 5km cycling track that winds through a tropical forest and along the golf course.

Birds of Windsor

At the Windsor, we have over 130 bird species which we continually observe with the help of our resident Ornithologist. We invite all birders to visit our indigenous forest and register all the birds seen at this beautiful hotspot. We provide binoculars, bird list and pen for every bird watch. A small fee is charged as this goes towards our conservation efforts in keeping the forest a natural habitat for birds, small mammals and insects.

Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club 220 acres of land where most of its part is covered by a natural forest with huge trees of more than 1 century old. 18 holes Golf Course is within the Natural forest with rich biodiversity such as over 201 birds species number of butterflies, flowering plants and few wild animals such as Sykes monkey, Squirrels and Suni an Antelope species.

Mika Coffee Farm

The farm was established in 1920 by european settlers in Kenya. In 1927 the Pulping station was constructed. Its area of the plantation was 88.5 ha. The coffee grown was selected from Traditional varieties SL 28, SL 34(6-.29 ha) and Ruiru 11 (6 ha). The factor production is labour and has between 70 to 450 workers during off and peak season respectively.

PickleBall is a lively and dynamic paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a smaller court with a modified tennis net, players use solid paddles and a plastic ball with strategically placed holes. The game involves quick reflexes, precise shots, and strategic positioning, making it enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels.
